Hi, I’m Dina Belenko — a still life photographer telling visual stories through everyday objects.
Chipped cups, broken porcelain, scattered petals, faded notes — I use these familiar things to explore universal themes: memory, nostalgia, resilience, transformation. My images speak to emotions we all recognize, even in the quietest moments.
Still life can be powerful. A simple arrangement can express the feeling of starting over, the tenderness of a shared ritual, or the weight of something left unsaid.
That’s why my work resonates beyond fine art — it’s often licensed for use in publishing, branding, and editorial projects looking to evoke warmth, meaning, and emotional depth without clichés.
What began as playful, whimsical setups has grown into a body of work grounded in the aesthetics of the mundane — emotionally rich visuals that connect with people on a deeply human level.
My photographs have been exhibited internationally and published widely, and I’m the author of Composition as Visual Storytelling (2024). I’m currently based in Los Angeles, continuing to create images that help others communicate subtle, resonant stories — through the poetry of ordinary things.
